As-Salamu Alaykum,

Thank you for attending the Tauheed Workshop, "Do We Know God?" hosted by Mahdiyyah USA and Ghadeer Education Foundation. We truly appreciate you taking the time to be part of this gathering of learning and reflection.

We explored the foundation of our faith, beginning with the importance of sourcing our beliefs from the purest origins: the Holy Quran and the teachings of the Ahlulbayt (a.s.). We reviwed concepts of Marefat'e Fitri, the innate recognition of Allah that every soul carries from before creation, and the primordial covenant of Surah Al-A'raf (7:172) when every soul testified to His Lordship.

We also discussed the veils that cause heedlessness, how calamities and the signs of creation reawaken that inner knowledge, and the powerful words of Imam Ali (a.s.) who recognized his Lord through the breaking of his own plans and intentions.

We hope this session served as a reminder of what your soul already knows and that it renewed the covenant within each indiviudal, as Ustad Uskui describes, a marefat that is light embedded into our souls.
